How To Become An Authorized eShox Web
Host 
eShox 4 is only available to end customers via their participating web host or ISP. The reasoning behind this policy is that web hosts and ISP's are professionals who will have little difficulty installing the program and ensuring that all technical requirements are met. At the same time, professional web hosts are fully set-up to provide customer support to their customers, and thus also for eShox. Since their customers have the use of the standard program at no charge, they will have the choice to pay for any support required which thus provides an additional revenue stream for the hosts.
eShox Network members will have full access to the eShox help system as well as the eShox Network forum to assist them with support issues. They also have access to eShox Developer Support.
Company Web Hosting
Becoming a company web host for eShox is very easy and straight forward. A company web host is one who provides hosting for a specific company or organization but not the general public. Company web hosts are expected to have technical competence and experience with the underlying technology on which eShox is based, namely MySQL, php and Apache. Because of their private nature these web hosts are not expected to have customer support infrastructure beyond what is required to service their organization.
To become a company web host simply register and you will be sent a link from which to download the eShox program. After you are satisfied with the store, purchase the activation key to enable the shopping cart. Please note that the store licensee does NOT include access to eShox Developer Support.
Public Web Hosts & ISP's
ISP's and web hosts that work with the general public are the primary target for eShox because they have the most to gain and thus will be instrumental in popularizing eShox as the definitive solution for ecommerce. In order to become a public web host, candidates must complete a Public Web Host / ISP Application. Successful candidates will have access to eShox Developer Support and will be listed on the eShox home page with links to their sites.
